[2025.11.19] AARON KWOK AND FRANCIS NG GIVE THEIR ALL IN COLLABORATION AFTER 25 YEARS

In the Emperor Motion Picture UNDER CURRENT (NOI MOK), two Best Actors Aaron Kwok Fu Sing and Francis Ng Chun Yu worked together again after 25 years. They had a lot of scenes together, as Sing Sing played a lawyer with both brains and bravery. He also had his share of action scenes as he performed most of his stunts himself. When the production began, Sing Sing revealed that the character was proficient in taekwondo. Fortunately in the result he was full of skills and has not been stumped at all.

In the film Sing Sing had a deeply memorable scene in which he was hung on metal chains. He was strangled and hung to a high place, almost suffocating. Sing Sing had no complaints during the filming, and everyone admired his professionalism. In the first released trailer, Sing Sing finally joined forces with the Ng Chun Yu played law enforcement officer in a battle of brains as well as brawn. In one scene they did not hesitate to take risks in order to find out the truth. Director Alan Mak Siu Fai arranged an explosion scene to create a tense atmosphere, the two had to escape from the fire as danger surrounded them. The director even described Chun Yu's performance this time as "all out", not only participating in a car chase but also having a series of gunfights.

In addition to Kwok Fu Sing and Ng Chun Yu, the cast could be described as quite prosperous. Among them fellow Best Actors Simon Yam Tat Wah and Alex Fong Chung Shun had many-for-tat occasions. Other participating actors include Niki Chow Lai Kei, Kathy Yuen (Tong Yee), Chan Kwok Bong, Gladys Li Ching Kwan, Lok Ying Kwan, John Chiang Dai Wai, Nina Paw Hee Ching, Fong Ping, German Cheung Man Kit, Peter Chan Charm Man, Kenneth Lai Chun and Geng Changjun.
