Eddie Cheung Siu Fai (Brother Fai) appeared yesterday at the beauty brand event founded with his wife and described himself as the brand's biological son as he has worked with it for nearly 30 years. Recently he went to Hubei to play soccer with the star soccer team, and also learned Tai Chi on the Wudang Mountain here. Speaking of Brother Fai's victory for "Best Actor" at the "Maple Leaf Awards" for the thrilling suspense movie REBORN (HUNG SUM YUN), he went to Canada to attend the 13th "Vancouver Chinese Film Festival" and receive the award. Brother Fai said, "I am very happy, and I didn't expect that foreigners would like this movie. The result was surprising, maybe the movie resonated with them. I hope everyone will support Hong Kong films and restore the glorious performances of the past; actually, the Hong Kong film industry still has many talents; the question is whether they would have opportunities to shine." Would he hope for the film to win an award in Hong Kong? Brother Fai said, "Let the award to fate, having someone's recognition for the movie has already made me very happy. The award is a bonus, I don't make a movie just to win an award. The main thing is to remind everyone not to neglect the people around you." He understood that everyone was busy with work, but he also wanted to remind everyone to take time to spend with their parents and family.
