THE SPARRING PARTNER (JING YI WUI LONG)'s producer Philip Yung Tsz Yung directed Lunar New Year film KAM DOR BO would star Edan Lui Cheuk On, Golden Horse Award Best Actress Chung Suet Ying, Elaine Jin (Kam Yin Ling), Jiro Li Sheung Ching (Ah Ching) and Harriet Yang Sze Man (Shrimp Head). Yung Tsz Kwong revealed that he had to advance half of the production cost this time and wanted to find investors to work with while filming. He said that he was not yet pessimistic about the film market. The lottery jackpot in the film was 80 million, which would also be the box office goal. Lui Cheuk On admitted that he had pressure from working with Best Actress Chung Suet Ying. He even had to play against the golden retriever Caski, as well as facing Ah Ching and Shrimp Head's improvisations; all of which have been fun and sparkling. Kam Yin Ling said that warmth filled both on and off screen, revealing that Nina Paw Hee Ching and Michael Hui Koon Man learned that the director was starting production during the challenging market and agreed to make a cameo. Hui Koon Man even provided a lot of advice.

Making his third Lunar New Year film, Edan said that he was very happy to receive the director's invitation two months ago. He said, "I have always loved to be funny, but I don't have many opportunities to make comedy films." Working with the Golden Horse Award Best Actress Chung Suet Ying for the first time, Edan smiled and said that the stress was enormous. Chung Suet Ying also said that she too had a lot of pressure. She said that she had pressure from working with Kam Yin Ling, but fortunately the movie had more group scenes and each person carried a little of the load. Edan revealed that the most profound thing was filming exaggerated funny scenes in the mansion, and believed that the audience would laugh happily when they see it. When Chung Suet Ying was asked if holding her laughter was the most difficult, she said, "No, you can laugh directly." Edan continued, "In one scene Li Sheung Ching changed the lyrics while singing, which was very funny. Yet the director said that it was too exaggerated. Chung Suet Ying came out as the Best Actress and persuaded the director." Chung Suet Ying clarified, "Edan often borrows my name to use!" Edan said, "At that time I plucked up the courage to say to the director, 'Chung Suet Ying has something to say' then turned around and left. I handed it over to her to propose to the director, and finally impressed the director to shoot again with sincerity."

Edan said that Li Sheung Ching and Shrimp Head were too quick witted and often improvised. Even he could not follow them with the dialogue. He praised the director for giving him a great opportunity to perform and make the role even more vivid. Chung Suet Ying did not know if this movie would need a theme song, and she could help if needed. Edan said that he liked the lyrics she filled in very much. He joked that he did not have a talent for writing lyrics, and asked if they could work together in the future. Chung Suet Ying smiled and replied "thank you". Speaking of him not having a close up shot in MIRROR's new music video "DNA is U", Edan believed that it was the director's arrangement. The most important thing was completeness, and everyone was satisfied with the concept and effect.

Yung Tsz Kwong said that Lunar New Year films were representative in Hong Kong, hoping to bring joy to the audience and attract more people to support Hong Kong films. He said that GUM DOR BO was his desire to win the lottery. Because making a movie was very difficult now, he has advanced nearly half of the filming this time and hoped to find investors to work with as soon as possible. He admitted that he has used a property's down payment while working on THE SPARRING PARTNER, but he still believed that the market was not completely pessimistic because several movies have exceeded 100 million at the box office in recent years. He hoped that the box office of GUM DOR BO would be able to reach HK$ 80 million like the prize money in the film, and promised to make at least one Hong Kong film every year to continue to contribute to the film industry.

Kam Yin Ling said that warmth filled the film on and off camera. In addition to the story revolving around a family, Paw Hee Ching and Hui Koon Man also joined the performance without hesitation the adverse market. Hui Koon Man also provided a lot of advice. She pointed out that the film industry is a part of life. In the past more than 300 Hong Kong films were made annually, but this year only 10 films started production. Without support perhaps it would no longer exist, thus she asked the audience to support the movie at the theaters. Speaking of working with Paw Hee Ching, she admitted that she has been looking forward to it for a long time. She said that in addition to filming, they also talked about life topics. Shrimp Head said that he benefited a lot from Kam Yin Ling and praised her for being able to lead the actors into their roles.
