Three years ago during the Mid Autumn Festival Ella was assaulted at an event. She no longer feared the crowd. Ella said, "It's OK, no one touched me. All the fans know what they are doing." Did she have any fear of the Mid Autumn Festival? She said, "I forgot about it already. Actually I wasn't afraid because the security was well done."
Ella just learned that her next film promotion will be at the location where the assault occurred. Has she already forgotten the unpleasantness? She said, "Yes, but I remember it every Mid Autumn Festival because reporters always ask." In the film Ella played an undercover character that required her to appear without any make up and receive rough treatment at the hands of Yue Man Lok. Could she accept a guy hitting a girl? She said, "Not at all. A friend got a divorce because the guy got rough. I luckily haven't run into that." Ella has already many characters already, she hoped that next time she will be able to play "crazy lady" to challenge her.
