The Tian Zhuangzhuang directed, Japanese hunk Joe Odagiri and Maggie Q starred THE WARRIOR AND THE WOLF has already attracted attention before its release. This time Emi Wada made over 1,000 costumes for the film and spent 8 months on them. The most eye catching were Maggie Q's numerous foreign tribal costume, which cost almost US$ 1 million. Ms. Wada pointed out that this was a story about human and wolf. For Maggie Q's mysterious tribal look, fur was used in addition to multiple crafting. Maggie Q had nothing but praise for this costume. After wearing it she felt like she was the woman in the film, which was truly wonderful. Tian Zhuangzhuang also pointed out that that the collaboration with Ms. Wada was an experience. He felt that the costume color that Ms. Wada provided inspired creativity and production. The film is scheduled for an October 22 Hong Kong release and at the same time is the Hong Kong Asian Film Festival opening film. Tian Zhuangzhuang and Joe Odagiri have already agreed to attend.
