Li Bingbing recently worked on the new film 1911 (XINHAI REVOLUTION) with the "kiss storm" Jackie Chan. he honestly said that after dinner they would embrace and kiss on the cheek, but she felt those were normal Western customs and were understandable.

Li Bingbing appeared at a certain company party, other guests included Vivien Yeo (Yeung Sau Wai), Emme Wong Yi Man, Ana R. and Patina Lin. Bingbing revealed that she was working on the new film 1911 with Jackie Chan. In it they played a couple and Bingbing often praised Jackie Chan as taking great care of her. She said, "I treated me very well. This was our second collaboration, the last time was on FORBIDDEN KINGDOM. He taught me kung fu. This time I believe we will bring some pleasantly surprising sparks to everyone. (Would you have kiss scenes?) Not necessarily, let's see what the director decides." Have they dined off screen? Bingbing said yes. Jackie Chan would even bring food for them. Have they given each other "goodbye kisses"? Bingbing finally got what the reporters were getting at and smiled. "That's very normal, it's understandable. (Have you?) I gave him one. Actually embraces and kisses at parting are just Western customs."
