The Nick Cheung Ka Fai directing debut HUNGRY GHOST RITUALS (YU LAN SUN GUNG) two days ago opened officially in Hong Kong and Macau. The opening day box office reached HK$1,187,310, breaking all Chinese and foreign ghost film record and making the highest opening day box office for any non holiday ghost film in almost a decade in Hong Kong. With the great advanced screening performance, the film accumulated HK$2,665,536. As the director and the star Ka Fai after learning the good news was very happy. He immediately led the two actresses Annie Liu (Lau Sum Yau) and Carrie Ng Ka Lai to the cinemas for audience appreciation. They will go to Tsim Sha Tsui and Mongkok cinemas to meet with the audience. Ka Fai was very confident in his first film and hoped that the box office would climb even higher.
