Julian Cheung Chi Lam, Charmaine Sheh Si Man and Nancy Sit Ka Yin starred in RETURN OF THE CUCKOO (SUP YUET CHOR NG DIK YUET GUONG). Two days ago it opened simultaneously in Hong Kong, Macau, Singapore and Malaysia. The film opened in Hong Kong and Macau with HK$ 1.2 million. Its Hong Kong opening box office was HK$ 972,883,000, putting it on top of all Chinese films at the box office.

Chilam and Ah Sheh were excited and said that they would promote hard at the audience appreciation events to thank the audience. Chilam earlier visited six Guangzhou cinemas for non stop audience appreciation. All of the cinemas he went to were sold out. As soon as the enthusiastic fans saw Chilam they screamed, "You are so handsome". They presented flowers and barley as a sign of a great harvest! Chilam immediately took selfies with the audience.

Ah Sheh two nights ago returned from Vietnam and rushed to the Tsim Sha Tsui cinema for an audience appreciation event with Sit Ka Yin and director Patrick Kong (Yip Lim Sum). In sunglasses Sister Ka Yin said that her eyes were infected. When the host hand her the question card for her to ask the audience questions, Sister Ka Yin joked, "Actually I can't see." The audience cracked up. She also jokingly "complained" about her lack of screen time. Yip Lim Sum said that he would give her more when he would have a chance. "I hope there will be sequel, so I can give you more screen time."
