Best Actor Anthony Wong Chau Sun recently at the 21st Udine Far East Film Festival received the Golden Mulberry Award for Outstanding Achievements. The film STILL HUMAN (LUN LOK YUN) also won the Golden Mulberry Audience Award and the Black Dragon Critics Award.
Yesterday 4:45PM, Chau Sun and the film STILL HUMAN actress Crisel Consunji and director Oliver Chan Siu Kuen returned to Hong Kong together. Chau Sun even held up the Golden Mulberry Award for Outstanding Achievement for media photos and shared the joy with everyone. During the interview, they talked about the awards. Chau Sun said that it felt very wonderful. Director Chan Siu Kuen stated that she was very happy, she did not expect it before hand. Originally she only went to celebrate Chau Sun's award. Chau Sun said, "Don't play, you won two film awards. One of them is the biggest award, but the award would not be available until after the etching. At the moment I was afraid of dropping it on the floor." Actress Crisel Consunji was very surprised about the awards, and very happy to see that the audience liked this film. She experienced the love in the film and thanked everyone for their passion. Chan Siu Kuen also pointed out that STILL made its European premiere. Many Cantonese style jokes were in the film, which were harder to understand to the locals there.
