Tony Leung Ka Fai in his new film CHASING THE DRAGON II WILD WILD BUNCH (JUI LUNG II CHAK WONG) played a crime lord of a generation Cheung Chi Keung. The public learned little about the character, mostly from the cases that was uncovered after his arrest. Leung Ka Fai earlier spoke with Hong Kong Open Television host Cathy Chek Wing Shan about the character and memorable scenes, as well as his sweet life with his wife.
The crime lord of a generation Cheung Chi Keung's story has been adapted many times with many actors, but the public knew little about the character. Cathy asked would this add to the difficulty of grasping the character for Leung Ka Fai? Leung Ka Fai said, "The public doesn't know much, which actually to the actor is a good thing. The look and the character have no chance for impersonation, which instead can provide even greater degree of creative freedom." Leung Ka Fai also recalled in one of the scenes, he brought many durians to share with the brothers. Due to different angles, he had a lot. He joked, "I had to walk while I ate, I remembered Props ordered several cases of Gold Pillow. I alone probably had two to three cases. Now whenever durian is mentioned I would immediately be shaking in my boots!"
