The Dayo Wong Tze Wa starred film A GUILTY CONSCIENCE (DUK SIT DAI JONG)'s box office momentum remained strong. Since its January 21st release it kept setting new records. "The Hong Kong Box Office Co. Ltd." yesterday announced that as of March 2nd, A GUILTY CONSCIENCE after 41 days in release has made HK$ 106,729,277 and overtaken IRON MAN 3 to reach 10th place among the top ten highest grossing film in Hong Kong box office history.
The last time a Hong Kong film reached the top ten was Stephen Chow Sing Chi's KUNG FU HUSTLE (GONG FU) in 2004, which was knocked off in 2012. After 11 years, finally a Hong Kong film has broken through the Hollywood film monopoly. A GUILTY CONSCIENCE reached the 10th highest box office. According to the "Hong Kong Box Office Co.
