Hui Hok Man felt that Wai Sze Nga was the only choice for the female protagonist, due to her luxurious hair and her doll like face. "Wai Sze Nga is very suitable for the character. Her performance is rather professional, fully immersed into the horror story. The frightening effect by far exceeds my expectation." Lead actor Wong Yau Nam played hairstylist appeared normal but had darkness inside, the performance was highly difficult and was a "licensing test".
