The Michelle Wai Sze Nga, Terrance Lau Chun Him, Cecilia Choi Sze Wan, ANSONBEAN and others starred, three new directors Frank Hui Hok Man, Daniel Chan Yu Hang, Doris Wong Chin Hin directed new film TALES FROM THE OCCULT: BODY AND SOUL (SUT HUNG HUNG HUNG ji JUI YU SAT) has yet to open in Hong Kong, but has already received invitations to participate in the 26th Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival and the 7th London East Asia Film Festival and injected a shot of confidence into the new directors.
The film would adapt three chilling urban legends for the big screen, including the Hui Hok Man directed, Wai Sze Nga and Wong Yau Nam starred RAPUNZEL (TAU FAT). Hui Hok Man felt that Wai Sze Nga was the only choice for the female protagonist, due to her luxurious hair and her doll like face. "Wai Sze Nga is very suitable for the character. Her performance is rather professional, fully immersed into the horror story. The frightening effect by far exceeds my expectation." Lead actor Wong Yau Nam played hairstylist appeared normal but had darkness inside, the performance was highly difficult and was a "licensing test".
