Gigi Leung Wing Kei, Kenji Fan Ki Chi and director James Hung Ling Ching attended the sharing session of the movie MY FIRST OF MAY (MO MING JI) yesterday.

Gigi in the film was irresponsible and abandoned her husband and daughter. Although she did not have a lot of screen time, she believed that being able to participate in this high-quality film was a rare opportunity. This time making a special performance, Gigi only focused on two scenes. Yesterday a viewer asked her after watching the film would she like to add any scene? She said that she wanted to film the scene of her abandoning her daughter the most, and director Hung Ling Ching said with a smile that he wanted to film the spark between her as the daughter-in-law and Nina Paw Hee Ching as the mother-in-law. Gigi watched the premiere a few days ago and said that she was very moved: "I cried so hard. The director sat next to me, and I was so emotional that I asked the director to hold my hand tightly. When I saw the scene of reunion with my daughter (Natalie Hsu) through the phone booth, during the filming we were very far away and I couldn't see my daughter's expression and reaction at that time. When I saw my daughter's expression on the screen, the guilt and struggle gushed out even deeper. From my daughter's eyes, I knew that she forgave me!" Gigi told the director that she has been waiting for the movie to be released, because after filming she has not completely let go of the role of "bad mommy" in her mind.
