The annual beauty pageant "Miss Hong Kong 2025 Pageant Final"
was held last night at Tseung Kwan O TVB City. In the end candidate 9
Stacey Chan Wing Sze won the championship. Chan Wing Sze has been
practicing rhythmic gymnastics since she was a child, joined the Hong
Kong rhythmic gymnastics team at the age of 10, won the first place in
the individual all-around event at the Hong Kong Rhythmic Gymnastics
Open from 2012 to 2015, and was awarded the Outstanding Athlete Award by
the Gymnastics Association of Hong Kong, China. 7 Angela Stanton (Sze
Yu Kei) won the runner-up, and the second runner-up was 13 Jane Yuan
Wenjing. 1 Victoria Lee Wan Yin was elected "Miss Friendship" and
"Miss Photogenic".
Last night's event emcees were Chin Kar Lok, Mayanne Mak Mei
Yan, GM Randal Tsang Gin Mong and Sophie Yip Sin Man, and Louis Yuen
Siu Cheung served as the emcee of the swimsuit session. Guest performer
Hins Cheung King Hin opened the show with a performance of DEADLINE,
leading 14 beauties to appear with his singing. The beauties wore white
evening gowns to introduce themselves.
The 14 candidates for Miss Hong Kong then held a talent
showdown, with 50 artists on the scene to vote for their favorite
performances. 1 Victoria Lee and 5 Tsang Yuet Yiu performed Cantonese
opera and opera in a "Chinese and Western" duel respectively; 3 Tsoi
Wah Ying and 12 Vivian Zhuang Jingjing danced modern dance and Chinese
dance for a "Traditional and Modern" duel; 9 Chan Wing Sze and 14
Alison Kerr (Ho Wing Dor) performed rhythmic gymnastics and karate in
a "hard and soft" duel. In terms of musical instrument competition,
4 Molly Mo Fan and 7 Sze Yu Kei competed with piano accompanied
Latin dance and guzheng. 6 Chu Man Wai and 11 Leung Sin Huen used K-pop
dance and jazz dance to compete in dance skills. As for the more
special ones, 2 Phoebe Kam Wing Ning and 10 Tamson Manning (Man Nga Yee)
performed Chair Dance and Fancy Rope Skipping respectively; 8 Fandi Yue
and 13 Yuan Wenjing will have a freestyle duel, performing singing,
dancing and rapping respectively. Nearly half of the beauties showed
amazing flexibility, as there was no shortage of movements that could
raise their legs to their heads during the performance. In the end 3
Emily Tsoi, who performed modern dance, 7 Sze Yu Kei, who performed the
guzheng, and 9 Chan Wing Sze, who performed rhythmic gymnastics, each
received 40 votes.
Subsequently the beauty appeared in a white bikini and the top
ten were announced. They were candidates 1 Victoria Lee Wan Ngan, 3
Emily Tsoi Wah Ying, 4 Molly Mo Fan, 5 Elysia Tsang Yuet Yiu, 6 Teresa
Chu Man Wai, 7 Sze Yu Kei, 9 Chan Wing Sze, 10 Tamson Manning (Man Nga
Yee), 11 Barbie Leung Sin Huen and 13 Yuan Wenjing. Popular on the
Internet before the race, Vivian Zhuang Jingjing still stopped at the
top ten.
The top ten beauties appeared in swimsuits for a Question and
Answer session, among which candidate 7 Angela Stanton (Sze Yu Kei) was
asked about the current affairs of the recent HK$ 80,000 dinner at
Central. The emcee asked her, "If you invite a man to dinner and he
disappears midway, you have to find 80,000 for the meal, what would you
do?" Sze Yu Kei said that she would ask her old boss to help find the
bill, because she believed that the other party would have 80,000 for
the bill. She could also ask the other party how to earn back 80,000.
In the end, candidates 1 Victoria Lee, 3 Emily Tsoi, 7 Sze Yu Kei, 9
Stacey Chan Wing Sze and 13 Jane Yuan Wenjing competed for the top three
positions. The favorite, 4 Molly Mo Fan, ended her run at top five;
instead 13 Jane Yuan made a surprise entry.
In addition to Cheung King Hin, Janice Vidal (Wai Lan) and Aarif
Rahman (Lee Chi Ting) performed. Miss Hong Kong alumnus Cally Kwong Mei
Wan made a gorgeous appearance to sing OUR HOME and performed on the
same stage with the beauty. Cheung King Hin said in an interview
backstage that it was not the first time he has been a guest performer
for the Miss Hong Kong finals. He said with a smile that although he
has been rarely seen on TVB, after all he worked at TVB for 3 years when
he first entered the industry. Thus returning to TVB City felt like
remembering his youth. He joked that he would relive this scene after
returning home, praising the beauties for their outstanding appearance
and education. However he believed that appearance was important, but
wisdom was more important. He observed that the beauties were still
very nervous during the rehearsal the day before, but they seemed
relaxed and confident that night. He also respected those beauties who
were not good at Cantonese but were willing to put in a lot of effort to
pursue their dreams. Wai Lan said that she was very happy to be invited
to be a guest performer of Miss Hong Kong for the first time. She said
that she had never thought of participating in a beauty pageant, but she
was interested in participating in bodybuilding competitions. In few
years she has begun fitness training and the coach encouraged her to
try. She joked that she would achieve the muscular results next year.
