Tai Bo, Amanda Lee Wai Man, Kuku So Tsz Yan and director Chow Yam Wing attended the movie FOR ALICE preview screening audience appreciation event yesterday. First time director Chow Yam Wing said that he paid HK$ 2.5 million to make the film. Because he encountered a midlife crisis, he wanted to do what he wanted to do. He took 7 years to complete the film plan. At first when he was writing the script he already had Tai Bo in mind, and he thanked him for making his dream happen. He said that he has brought this film to foreign festivals before and found that Tai Bo was one of the icons of Hong Kong. Many foreigners called him "Brother Tai Bo".

Tai Bo said that his enthusiasm for film has not diminished over the years, and he would try his best to help when working with new directors. He believed that the amount of money spent on making movies was not important, the most important thing was to have heart. He hoped that the audience would support Hong Kong films more. He said that he was awarded the "Lifetime Achievement Award" when he went to New York to participate in the film festival. When he heard the emcee introduce him as being from Hong Kong, the entire audience applauded. The audience liked the film very much, which was a great encouragement for him. "I would never retire, I would keep going. I don't have the word retirement in my dictionary." Tai Bo had a broken family relationship with Lee Wai Man and So Tsz Yan in the film, with many hurtful parts. The scene in which his emotions erupted on the rooftop led to audience discussions. He said he was very happy and praised So Tsz Yan for being smart. For the spots that he advised her on, she was able to perform fully and her future would be unlimited. Was he worried about the box office? Tai Bo said, "Recently I have been working with (Jennifer) Yu Heung Ying and Chen Bo-lin, and today I participated in the audience appreciation activities. I am trying my best to do a good job of promoting."

Lee Wai Man said that the director started in advertising and had a keen sense of beauty. This time she had the opportunity to play the role of a mother. She also played opposite Tai Bo and found filming an argument scene with So Tsz Yan in the middle of the night memorable. "By the middle of the night everyone was already sleepy, so we decided to warm up first, and then start filming when we got into the state." So Tsz Yan took on the filming of a feature film for the first time. Thanks to the guidance of the two elders, she felt that she has benefited a lot. She revealed that she only received the full script 72 hours after work started. She understood that the director and screenwriter strived for perfection, so they continued to improve the dialogue. They also were demanding of themselves, "In order not to disturb my family, I went to the park at 3 o'clock in the middle of the night to recite the dialogue to the empty bench, fantasizing about the plot and writing diaries for the character."
