In the Sylvia Chang Ai-chia produced, Benny Kung Siu Ping directed fantasy romance movie MEASURE IN LOVE (TA NIN TA YUT), one day in Angela Yuen Lai Lam's 'Aurora Zone" is equivalent to one year in Greg Hsu Kuang-han's. The two compose a fantasy romance across time and space.

Yuen Lai Lam said that in order to integrate Hsu Kuang-han into the performance, if Hsu Kuang-han was present during filming, she would read the dialogue in Mandarin. She would speak Cantonese when performing alone, and then dub later. Many people thought that the movie was filmed elsewhere, but in fact it was all produced and filmed in Hong Kong.

When Hsu Kuang-han made his first Hong Kong film, he stayed in Hong Kong for more than a month. He felt both rushed and sweet as the team was like a small family that worked together, which he liked very much. Hsu Kuang-han said that working with Yuen Lai Lam felt particularly good. "She has a lively personality, her characteristics are quirky and she is a bit mature and stable." Yuen Lai Lam recalled that she and Hsu Kuang-han first met at the awards ceremony, but they passed each other by. Their first official meeting was at a film company in Taiwan, and at that time she felt that his head was very small.

Was there any pressure from working with Taiwanese male god Hsu Kuang-han? Yuen Lai Lam laughed and said that she was both excited and happy, but in the film they lived in different times and spaces. She lived in the advanced and rational "Aurora Zone", and he was in the rough "Evergreen Zone". She said, "Our time flow is different. My one day is equal to his one year, so love is full of challenges. Many scenes during filming require imagination, such as experiencing a gravitational field on a boat ride, or performing unknown scenes out of thin air. Many things were done in post production, so the shoot requires a very strong sense of faith."

Hsu Kuang-han admitted that performing some scenes out of thin air was quite difficult, but the costumes and the sets enable everyone to get into the situation. Finding a real drainage system for a location shoot helped him with getting into character. In the film he also needed to play from young to old. He admitted that he had to rely on the special effect "mask" to support him, and wrinkles also needed the blessing of post-production special effects. This time they both needed to work on wires. Yuen Lai Lam said that the wire she was on could rotate and revolution, which felt very fun; Hsu Kuang-han smiled bitterly and said that he has been on the wires for three days while Yuen Lai Lam has been running for three days below.

When asked if he needed to cultivate his emotions before filming a kiss scene with Yuen Lai Lam? Hsu Kuang-han said that he entered the state after only a few seconds of looking at each other, and he did not feel embarrassed. He said with a smile, "If I get embarrassed I wouldn't be an actor!" Yuen Lai Lam also agreed. In the film Hsu Kuang-han romantically gave flowers to Yuen Lai Lam. He said with a smile that in reality he would give more flowers to his mother or Sister Chang (Chang Ai-chia). As for gifts to his girlfriend she would see what she lacked, and he would occasionally send flowers to make life interesting. Yuen Lai Lam smiled and said that she has not received flowers for a long time.

Hsu Kuang-han was deeply moved when he first read the script, "I like things with contrasts, in a funeral scene in the film, the residents of the 'Evergreen Zone' bid farewell to their sadness in a happy way. This concept makes me very engaged." He revealed that Sister Chang and the director discussed adherence to principles on the set and got along very cutely. He praised Sister Chang for being a legend but having no airs. She often made snacks to comfort the team, invited everyone to dinner at her home, chatted and joked with young actors. She made everyone feel warm, showed her temperament and pattern, which made him respect her. She also gave the actor a lot of freedom to perform, for which he could not be more grateful. Yuen Lai Lam once again played Chang Ai-chia's "daughter" this time, praising Sister Chang for being full of motherly love. She would come to the scene at 5 a.m. every morning. This love and passion for film has deeply affected her, as she stated that Sister Chang would be her role model.

The 30th Busan International Film Festival (BIFF) kicked off yesterday (17th), and the Asian Film Awards Academy (AFAA) will co- organize the annual event "Hong Kong Night" at the Paradise Hotel Busan on September 19, attracting filmmakers from many places. Chang Ai-chia was awarded the "Camellia Award" at this year's film festival and will also visit "Hong Kong Night" to interact with filmmakers from all over the world. She said, "I am deeply moved and grateful to be awarded the Camellia Award. This is not only an affirmation of the individual, but also a strong recognition of the dedication and contribution of female filmmakers over the years." The film she produced MEASURE IN LOVE would hold its world premiere at the film festival. Lead actress Yuen Lai Lam was excited about participating in the Busan Film Festival for the first time, looking forward to meeting two international directors Lee Chang-dong and Sean Baker. She said with a smile, "Just seeing them from a distance would be enough for me!"
