[2010.04.02] NIU CHEN-ZER WANTS TO WORK WITH ANDY LAU

Ethan Ruan (Yuen King Tin), Mark Chao (Chiu Yau Ting) and director Niu Chen-Zer yesterday attended a television program taping to promote their new film MONGA. On the program they talked about film and their views on different Hong Kong and Taiwan cultures. Three guests even jammed with one of the hosts MC Jin and turned the famous Taiwan song I LOVE TAIWAN GIRL into I LOVE MONGA.

Andy Lau Tak Wa recently expressed that he would like to work with Niu Chen-Zer, Niu Chen Zer expressed that earlier he just received a call from Lau Tak Wa. He congratulated him on his new film's NT$300 million box office in Taiwan. Niu Chen-Zer said ten years ago he worked with Wa Jai on ISLAND OF GREED (HAK GUM). Back then Wa Jai was already a Heavenly King but took good care of a small time actor like him. Later he became a director and would like to work with Wa Jai, but Wa Jai's salary was too high as he rarely made big production films. Niu Chen-Zer expressed that he would like to work with both Tony Leung Chiu Wai and Lau Tak Wa. Siu Tin and Chiu Yau Ting joked, "Then make MONGA prequel, we can just guest star."

Lately Ronald Cheng Chung Kei and Charlene Choi Chuek Yin's secret marriage and divorce generated quite a buzz. Siu Tin wore a ring on his left ring finger. Was he secretly married? He said that he wore this ring for a long time. The director explained for him, "I gave it to him."

Siu Tin honestly said that dating was between two people, most important was that the two people are happy. He said, "Secret marriage may happen to me." The director felt that actors should not talk too much about their personal lives. He said if possible, no one would avoid sharing the news of their marriage with everyone, thus he hoped everyone would give artists some space.
