The film LUNG FUNG DIM (DRAGON PHOENIX SHOP) held its global production start ceremony on April 1. The cast including Richie Jen (Yam Yin Chai), Barbie Hsu (Tsui Hei Woon), Law Kar Ying, Leung Siu Lung, Huo Siyan, Gong Xinliang, Lin Wei all appeared in costumes. At the event, the film company presented a gold painted "shop sign" of the film title and presented it to director Chung Shu Kai and the shop owner in the film, Big S. Big S then opened the doors and welcomed the guests.

The film company also wrote a draft for 6,000 liang of gold to the cast and crew in a show of this production's size. This draft was designed according to Ming Dynasty drafts. Siu Chai in the film played the Emperor and looked rather regal. Siu Chai said that this emperor was not easy to play as he had to run away from a marriage but also chase a girl. He was rather conflicted. As a comedy would this film just keep making rotten gags? Siu Chai denied that and even pointed out that the comedy of the film was completely based on the humorous story.

Playing the wedding store boss lady, Big S wore a green costume. The media praised her as a "baby face boss lady" and made her very happy. She even received a gold painted shop sign from boss Jimmy Heung Wah Sing.
