The 7th Osaka Asian Film Festival closed yesterday. The Wei Te-Sheng directed Taiwan film won the audience award. WARRIORS OF THE RAINBOW: SEEDIQ BALE premiered in Japan, attracted many Japanese viewers and sold out every show.
The event invited Wei Te-Sheng to Osaka to attend the film festival welcome dinner on the 16th and give a speech as a guest. Many viewers fought for pictures with him and his autographs. Wei Te-Sheng said that he was very happy that so many people liked his film even in Japan.
The 7th Osaka Asian Film Festival took place between March 9 and 18. Taiwan had FATHER'S LULLABY and BEAR IT in competition and STARRY STARRY NIGHT, WARRIORS OF THE RAINBOW: SEEDIQ BALE and LOVE in the special screening segment, the most Taiwan film in participation in the event's history.
