[2012.03.31] PANG HO CHEUNG RUSHES BACK TO HONG KONG FOR AUDIENCE APPRECIATION

The Media Asia movie LOVE IN THE BUFF (CHUN GIU YU JI MING) opened on March 29.  After one day in official release its single day box office already reached HK$1,111,221.  With last weekend's advanced screening box office, the total box office has already reached HK$3,257,601, 32 times more than LOVE IN A PUFF (JI MING YU CHUN GIU) two years ago.  The director decided to lead the cast on an audience appreciation cinema tour Sunday.

The film opened in the Mainland nationwide on March 30.  As of the morning of the 30th the film has been scheduled for over 11,000 shows and released like a foreign film.  The Mainland audience reaction was very enthusiastic.  LOVE IN THE BUFF has already become the talk of Hong Kong, many sang its high praises on their facebook and film sharing platforms.  A movie mobile phone app already had 100 viewer comments after viewing, most gave the full score of 5 points.  Viewers also said that the film had endless laughs, almost something funny every 5 minutes and applause worthy every ten.

Currently promoting the film in the Mainland, Pang Ho Cheung was very excited.  He thanked everyone for again appreciating his talent and he decided to show appreciation to Hong Kong viewers.  On Sunday he will fly back to Hong Kong, then in the afternoon he will lead the cast to cinemas in Mongkok and Causeway Bay for audience appreciation.  The film company will hold a celebration next Monday.  Lead actress Miriam Yeung Chin Wa will break taboo and again attend the film event.  Chin Wa already has her husband's permission to celebrate with the cast and the crew.
