Carina Lau Ka Ling, Nicholas Tse Ting Fung, Deanie Ip Tak Han, Louis Koo Tin Lok, Simon Yam Tat Wa and Wai Ying Hung yesterday attended the Tsim Sha Tsui Avenue of the Stars hand print ceremony to honor the film artists for their contribution to the film industry. The star hand prints will be on display at the end of the year. Ka Ling said that she would like to work with Ting Fung and joked that she would even play his lover or his sugar mama. Ting Fung of course agreed.

Ka Ling praised Ting Fung and said that she watched him grow up since age 3 or 4. She said, "Back then in TVB Wooden Man Alley I saw him walking back and forth, now he is mature, obedient and gentle, real and honest. He also won the Hong Kong Film Award Best Actor." Ka Ling pointed out that she and Ting Fung had quite a connection and hoped to have a chance to work with him. She said, "I can be his mother, lover, sister, I can even be his sugar mama, we can have a lot of possibilities." Did she feel Ting Fung is the second good man after Tony Leung Chiu Wai? She said, "I don't know if he is. We haven't been together. Yet in recent years I feel he has made great strides. Now he is obedient and wouldn't anger his mother."

Speaking of Leung Chiu Wai's THE GRANDMASTERS (YUT DOI JUNG SI) release next month, Ka Ling said that the film actually still had two scenes yet to be shot. She said, "With Wong Kar Wai's movies, often they can be released tomorrow but may still be shooting today." Ka Ling was asked why he did not work with Wai Jai? She said that actually they have worked together on 2046 and DAYS OF BEING WILD (AH FEI JING JUEN) but she only thought it was just for laughs. She said, "(The scenes) were shot but not used. Because we are too familiar with each other, no matter how the expressions don't feel like strangers'. I can't challenge my own acting."

Ting Fung said that his father Patrick Tse Yin in 2004 was the first group of artists who provided their hand prints. He said that Papa did not come this time, otherwise his hand would be all wrinkled. The host asked Ting Fung whether he would be more careful with his action films. He said, "I love action films, I hope to be able to perform every stunt to the director. I hope Hong Kong films are more and more entertaining. I really want to work with Papa, but now when Pa and I work together, he can play my grandfather." She also said that she would like the most to work with handsome guys like Koo Tin Lok and Ting Fung. Ip Tak Han revealed that she will perform a concert in March. She said, "The last time was in 2005, this time may be the last time. I don't know when the next one after that will be." She also asked fans not to bring "pon pon sticks" or record video or sound. She said that sound recording would be fined HK$500 and video would be fined HK$5000. She also said that the series will only have three shows, absolutely not additional show and no guest.

Wai Ying Hung said that she liked making movies very much, whether they are action and drama. She said, "In my age of film, over 400 movies were made in a year. Now over 100 are made, but they are more quality over quantity." Siu Hung said that she has worked with Lau Ka Ling, Ip Tak Han and Koo Tin Lok but not with Ting Fung yet. She felt that she and Ting Fung could play mother and son because she thought that they looked like each other. Siu Hung said that two months ago she received the hand print notice and felt very happy because this was the highest honor. She said that after the hand print was in place she would take a picture with her own hand print.

Koo Tin Lok said that he just stayed in Thailand for two months to make a movie. In it he played a fire fighter. The film has many explosion scenes. He even had diving scenes for two days and he took in a lot of water. He said, "I never imagine that an explosion scene can be so large, some cinematographers were burnt, stunt men needed stitches. However Lau Ching Wan had it the worst. With the hot temperature, he had to wear very thick clothing and became dehydrated." Yam Tat Wa said that this was his first hand print ceremony in Hong Kong, which he considered completing history. Did he feel he was invited too late?
