The late TVB honorary chair Sir Run Run Shaw's memorial event will take place on January 17 at the Tseung Kwan O Shaw Studio 1 from 10AM to 6PM. The format will be a friendly gathering and remembering the life of Siu Yat Fu, the atmosphere hopefully will not be too sorrowful. The event will be open to public in waves to pay respect to Sir Shaw. Mona Fong Yat Wa and others will attend.
TVB Enterprise Communication Department assistant director Tsang Sing Ming said, "Mr. Shaw was easy going and wasn't petty. Memorial event attendees will not have to dress in mourning color or black tie. No floral arrangement or funeral gift would be accepted. This is the planning committee's wishes."
