[2014.01.15] TONY LEUNG CHIU WAI WILL SERVE ON THE BERLIN FILM FESTIVAL JURY

The 64th Berlin Film Festival will take place on February 6. Yesterday it announced the jury list. Tony Leung Chiu Wai who won the Cannes Best Actor Award with IN THE MOOD FOR LOVE (FA YEUNG NIN WA) will serve on the jury for the first time, with Oscar Best Supporting Actor Christoph Waltz, ETERNAL SUNSHINE OF THE SPOTLESS MIND director Michel Gondry and James Bond producer Barbara Broccoli. Jury chair will be the CROUCHING TIGER HIDDEN DRAGON producer James Schamus.

Leung Chiu Wai said, "Actually film festivals have always invited me to be on their juries, but often due to scheduling I was unable to. Last year I participated in the Berlin Film Festival with THE GRANDMASTERS (YUT DOI JUNG SI) team, went to Berlin, had a great impression of this city and how friendly its people are. I really like this city. By chance this Berlin Film Festival's invitation fits the schedule, and I really like to watch movies. So I am planning to go to Berlin with the spirit of watching good movies."
