The Francis Ng Chun Yu, Rachel Lee Lai Chun and Chu Pak Hong starred film DRIFTING (JUK SHUI PIU LAU) was selected for Holland's international film festival, Rotterdam, and its Big Screen Competition. It was the only Hong Kong film selected. The cast and the crew could not be happier about the good news. Ng Chun Yu said, "It's a movie with a sense of misson, congratulations!" Lee Lai Chun years after ANNIVERSARY (GEI LIM YUT) returned to film again and stated that this film was extraordinarily meaningful to her. "This time working with a new director has been a great experience. I hope that Hong Kong produced films would have their genes and local color!" Chu Pak Hong pointed out that he was very happy to receive the good news at the end of the year. "It's the result of the cast and the crew's hard work."
Also, Media Asia's film SEPTET (CHUT YUN LOK DUI) was also selected for the event. The film is slated to open in February next year in Hong Kong.
