The Peter Chan Ho Sun directed, Gong Li and Huang Bo starred Chinese national women's volleyball team biography film LEAP will represent China at the 93rd Oscar Best International Film nomination race. Gong Li in the film played famous Chinese player Lang Ping. The film has been a critical and commercial hit, reaching HK$ 1 billion at the box office and earlier won three major awards at the Golden Rooster Awards including Best Film.
