Hong Kong comedy king Stephen Chow Sing Chi and Korean Best Actor Song Kang-ho unite! They seemed to have nothing to do with each other, but actually 23 years ago Song Kang-ho starred in a hit comedy film THE FOUL KING. Chow Sing Chi himself provided his voice to the Cantonese version. This rare occasion for the two to get together has been a great surprise for many film fans.
This time Song Kang-ho came to Hong Kong to promote COBWEB, and Chow Sing Chi invited him to Hong Kong seafood meals. From working together remotely to meeting for the first time recently, they finally completed the reunion of the century 23 years later.
Chow Sing Chi is currently working on the new film SHAOLIN WOMEN'S SOCCER. When Chow Sing Chi heard Song Kang-ho really liked SHAOLIN SOCCER, he took the opportunity to invite him to play a referee. Song Kang-ho instead asked Chow Sing Chi, "Why not a player?" Chow Sing Chi felt that with his acting abilities playing a female soccer player would not be difficult for Song Kang-ho at all. "My mind opened up immediately."
