The Patrick Tam Yiu Man, Sherming Yiu Lok Yi, Mark Cheng Ho Nam and Locker Lam Ka Hei starred new film FIGHT FOR TOMORROW (PING MING SAM LONG) has been released. Tam Yiu Man and Yiu Lok Yi earlier appeared on television to share the pain and joy of filming. Playing the retired gangster, Tam Yiu Man could be said to be "fighting for his life" in the film. He said, "The filming took place when the pandemic was almost over. Actually everyone have experienced physical and mental exhaustion for more than two years, so I put this emotion into the role felt that it was a quite suitable. I myself was a little similar to the character; I sensed the mid-life crisis, and I knew a little about fight scenes. I would watch how (Donnie) Yen Chi Tan and Bruce Lee fought for example, and even if I couldn't perform completely like them I hoped to be able to achieve half of what they did." In addition to the action scenes, Tam Yiu Man also had a number of argument scenes that was quite memorable to him. He said, "A few scenes where I argued and fought with Cheng Ho Nam and Yiu Lok Yi were so intense, among them more than 70% of the dialogue was improvised on the spot. My argument scene with Yiu Lok Yi was very memorable, because she was in good shape. The feeling was so real when I was playing opposite her."
In addition to the scenes between two brothers who faded out of the underworld, the movie also told the story of the two generations of father and son Tam Yiu Man and Lam Ka Hei and the relationship with his ex-wife Yiu Lok Yi. Yiu Lok Yi agreed that the movie examined the relationship between the two generations, and for this reason, their real family lives have also caused hot conversations. Ah Tam's pair of children excelled in both school and sports. He said modestly, "Thank to the respect from everyone, even the tuition amount has been talked about. Truly thank you very much. Fortunately the principal of the school is a foreigner, he probably wouldn't read it." Yiu Lok Yi's daughter is 9. She joked that her daughter was not yet in the stage of rebellion, but said, "She has been talking back a lot, but dares not to slam the door and ignore people. Now she would still sleep with me, and I still enjoy this intimate process." Yiu Lok Yi said that she only started to rebel at a very late stage back then, and she did not go out alone until the age of 18. She said, "Now that society is different, it is easier to break through the communication gaps between the two generations by getting along with the next generation as if they are friends."
