The film HERE COMES FORTUNE (CHOI SUN DOH) will be released on the 25th. Leads Alan Tam Wing Lun, Miriam Yeung Chin Wa, Richard Ng Yiu Hong, Carl Ng Ka Lung and director James Yuen Sai Sun yesterday attended the press conference. With ALL'S WELL ENDS WELL TOO 2010 (FA TIN HEI SI 2010) and 72 TENANTS OF PROSPERITY (72 GA JO HAT)'s promotions, Alan expressed that in Hong Kong HERE COMES FORTUNE would be no competition for them. Yet in the Mainland the war has begun. As for Chi Wai's hope that 72 TENANTS OF PROSPERITY would have 25 million box office in Hong Kong, Alan joked that Chi Wai was short but talked big. Ng Yiu Hong also described ALL'S and 72 as absurd films. The audience with wisdom would know how to choose. HERE COMES FORTUNE is selling warmth.
Alan, Chin Wa and other actors promoted HERE COMES FORTUNE and gave big laisee and tickets to the media. On the stage each actor talked about the production experience and also mentioned their confidence in the film. Alan has always remained moderate and did not criticize the other two Lunar New Year films. He even expressed hope for everyone to perform well because Wong Pak Ming, Tsang Chi Wai and he all belonged to Cinema City then. This year's atmosphere has been great and somewhat like the Cinema City days. Yet Ng Yiu Hong suddenly started a fire. He said, "The Lunar New Year already has two absurd comedy. Ours sells warmth. He said that this was the best among small films. Will he take his son during the Lunar New Year? Alan said that he will be overseas to ski in the most Northern place. He joked, "Like Outer Mongolia, Alaska. (When will you go?) I will tell you in your dream." Will he go with his family? He said that he had a lot of family and could fill two big buses.
Chin Wa lately has been busy with another film as well as film promotion. She expressed that working with Alan was very pleasant. Due to the Principal's quick responses, she could not follow. Did the Principal share any secret to have a child? She joked that they have not reached the subject yet. As for her confidence in the film, Chin Wa said that HERE was fully Mainland funded.
