The Vicki Zhao Wei and Donnie Yen Chi Tan starred film 14 BLADES (GUM YI WAI) will open in the Mainland on the 4th. Director Daniel Lee Yan Kong allegedly publicly admitted Zhao Wei's pregnancy in Chengdu. Lee Yan Kong yesterday in Xian clarified with the press that he never said anything about Zhao Wei's pregnancy and said that he might take legal action against certain media.

Promoting the film with Wu Chun, Kate Tsui Tsz Shan and Qi Yuwu in Xian, Lee Yan Kong was reserved at the viewer meeting. He stated to the media that he never said anything about Zhao Wei's pregnancy and did not ask whether she was. He expressed that they are already gathering evidence against the fabricating media and might take legal action.

Although the two big shots Zhao Wei and Donnie Yen Chi Tan were absent, the appearance of popular Taiwan group Fahrenheit member Wu Chun still made Xian scream. Many fans even came from Beijing to see him at the short meeting. Wu Chun expressed that in his first collaboration with Yen Chi Tan, Big Brother Yen took great care of new comers. In the film Wu Chun changed his usual sunny image to play a murderous "Great Desert Magistrate". His eyes were full of intent to kill. During the shoot he thought of people he "hated" before in order to get the feeling. Wu Chun denied rumors that he was going solo and said that Fahrenheit had a great relationship. This year they will release a new record and perform concerts. Miss Hong Kong with over 20 years of dance experience, Tsui Tsz Shan in 14 BLADES performed her first martial art scenes as a sexy female killer with a long whip. She expressed that fight scenes were certainly difficult and quite a challenge for her. However the director was more demanding and added a lot of special effects in post production to make the shots even more beautiful.
