Nick Cheung Ka Fai has been promoting THE STOOL PIGEON (SIN YUN) lately. Yesterday he and director Dante Lam Chiu Yin attended a forum with 100 film students who have just seen the film.

Having just completed the Beijing and Guangzhou promotions, Ka Fai felt that the Mainland viewers' response to this film was great. He was full of confidence in the film, in particular he was proud that the entire film was made in Hong Kong. He honestly said that the Mainland and Hong Kong box office had an enormous difference, and he hoped that the film would perform well in both locations. He said, "We originally only promoted in two places in the Mainland, now it has turned into ten places. The performance is very ideal."

A magazine inferred from Ka Fai's claim that he was a flower vase on his microblog that he felt his role and character potential were less than Nicholas Tse Ting Fung's. Ka Fai at first stated that he did not have much to respond to, then continued, "On the microblog I said I was very handsome, a substance idol type. Thus fans responded that I was the idol type so I was a flower vase. It had nothing to do with the film. (Are you satisfied with being a flower vase?) In Lam Chiu Yin's world, where is the flower vase? All it has is death and destruction, spit and snot." Sandra Ng Kwan Yu reportedly has been pregnant for two months. Ka Fai joked, "She fought until the end and she was fine, that's great. If it's true then I have to congratulate her. She is very passionate about having a child. My wife and I on the other hand haven't had much
progress. We are very easy going with stuff like this."
