The Emperor Motion Picture DIVA next Wednesday (August 8) will premiere in Hong Kong and Thursday (August 9) in Macau. The focus naturally will fall on lead actress Joey, whether co-star Lau Ho Lung will appear has also caught attention. At first when they were linked in rumors, Joey was asked whether she would promote with Lau Ho Lung. She said that she would not avoid him. Joey admitted, "After all the hard work that went into making the movie, everyone should properly enjoy the result. I definitely will attend the premiere! I won't dodge!" Joey would support all the promotions fully, but Lau Ho Lung would miss both Hong Kong and Macau premieres.
Emperor Motion Picture admitted that Lau Ho Lung will not attend hte premieres next week. Despite being invited, his management company said that Lau Ho Lung was scheduled to work on both days and will not be able to attend the premieres. As for whether Lau Ho Lung will attend other promotional events, Emperor said that DIVA promotions will begin today. Because other locations' distributors and film companies did not ask, for now Lau Ho Lung will not participate in other promotions.
