[2012.08.29] ANDY LAU AND SAMMI CHENG INVADES MONGKOK AT NIGHT

Sammi Cheng Sau Man and Andy Lau Tak Wa worked together on the film THE BLIND DETECTIVE (MAN TAM) last year shot on the busy streets of Mongkok and attracted many onlookers. The team in the afternoon constructed a tent for a make up room. Actor Chun Wong was resting inside, smoking a cigar and chatting with director Johnnie To Kei Fung about the script.

Around 7PM, Sammi's vehicle arrived at a Taiwanese style snack shop and immediately caused a stir. Many onlookers in order to see Sammi walked to the edge on the street and drew the attention of traffic police. The crew urged everyone to be careful. Sammi was causally dressed. When she took her mark, after Soi Cheang Po Shui and To Kei Fung's simple instructions she brought a note to the snack shop for take out. Although it was a short scene, the director wanted perfection and Sammi had to play it many times; to maintain order, after each shot she would return to her vehicle to rest. Later, Wa Jai also arrived at the location and was surrounded in the same manner.
