Nick Cheung Ka Fai and Thai transgender actress Poyd two nights ago attended their film THE WHITE STORM (SO DUK)'s celebration. The film after 4 days in Hong Kong release made over HK$ 10.6 million, after 10 days in Mainland release it reached 170 million yuan RMB. Poyd presented a cardboard with lipstick mark to her on screen husband Cheung Ka Fai as a belated birthday gift.

Director Benny Chan Muk Sing was interested in a sequel. Cheung Ka Fai hoped to work with the original team again. "Hopefully the sequel will have nothing to do with crime. I hope the director will make a drama next time and can be a little more hardcore. Playing a couple with Poyd? Of course that would be great! If the story requires it I can work on another intimate scene with Poyd. Poyd is great, but she likes (Louis) Koo Tin Lok." Poyd pretended to punch him. "No! Goo Jai is a big brother, you are my hubby." Cheung Ka Fai revealed that when he watched the film with his wife Esther Kwan Wing Ho, he covered his eyes during his intimate scene with Poyd.

Poyd's popularity rose with THE WHITE STORM and helped her land more romantic and intimate scenes in Thailand. Chan Muk Sing said that with the three leads' schedule a sequel would be difficult. Speaking of Cheung Ka Fai's drama request, Chan Muk Sing said, "Then he will get itchy and ask me to give him a few fight scenes. Will I pair Poyd with Goo Jai? Let them communicate first and see."
