The 4K digital restored version of Yonfan's 1988 classic film LAST ROMANCE (LAU GUM SHUI YUET) premiered the night before. Yonfan and many senior filmmakers were also present, and some fans asked Yonfan for his autograph; Kimman Wong also made the trip to watch the movie.

When asked if he has seen the remastered version, Yonfan said, "I have watched this movie hundreds of times. 36 years later the faces have changed completely. However the most precious thing about the movie was to preserve the youth of Cherie Chung Chor Hung and Maggie Cheung Man Yuk in their 20s, allowing the two led actresses to show their best moments. The two lead actresses, (Cherie) Chung Chor Hung and (Maggie) Cheung Man Yuk both were aware of the movie's release, but they have always kept a low profile and have little contact with the outside world. So they will not appear, which made people miss them even more. (Is it difficult to find actresses with the aura of Chung Chor Hung and Cheung Man Yuk now?) It's a bit difficult. In addition to the fact that today's actors are very different from those in the past, the production methods are also very different. So I am considering not making movies anymore. Now we shoot digitally, and it's very convenient for us to shoot with mobile phones...It's not so much that I can't keep up, but I'm actually not used to it because I used to use film to capture frame by frame; every shot had to be carefully considered, as well as the coordination of lighting and many factors."

Kimman Wong said that he has always been fond of classic Hong Kong movies, and particularly admired the two elders Leslie Cheung Kwok Wing and Cheung Man Yuk. Unfortunately when LAST ROMANCE was released, he was only 5 years old and did not have the chance to watch it. Thus he came here to support it tonight. When it comes to the "affair" scandal involving his fellow MIDLIFE SING AND SHINE 2 candidate Brian Cheng Tsz Ho, Kimman said that he has heard about it a little bit, but he was busy preparing for concerts and recording new songs recently; so he did not have time to learn more about it. When asked how Cheng Tsz Ho is as a person? Kimman said, "We worked together during the MIDLIFE SING AND SHINE 2 competition. He took good care of everyone, so I couldn't believe it when I heard the news. (Did you notice that Cheng Tsz Ho and Miranda Suen Mei Yin were intimate?) Suen Mei Yin and I had little contact because she was quickly eliminated." He said that he did not comfort Cheng Tsz Ho about the incident yet. He felt that Cheng was already very annoyed and there was no point in disturbing him. When they would have the opportunity to meet he would express his concern. He said that he was usually interested in going to church and reading the Bible on the beach, so there was no scandal worth reporting.
