The Andy Lau Tak Wa, Gordon Lam Ka Tung, Hu Jun and others starred 3D police film FIRESTORM (FUNG BO) was invited to be the 3rd Screen Singapore opening film and global premiere. Two days ago Lau Tak Wa and Lam Ka Tung attended the press conference and the premiere. At the press conference Lam Ka Tung's Putonghua was so poor that it led to a series of laughter. He forced Wa Jai's hand to help with translation, but Lam Ka Tung "returned the favor" by revealing that he only took FIRESTORM because of his fight scene with Wa Jai.

Lam Ka Tung said that at first when he found out that this character required a lot of physical endurance he originally did not want to take it, but when he learned about the fight scene with his boss (Wa Jai) he immediately agreed. He joked that even if he needed 3 months of training, it was worth everything. Because after 10 years he finally had a chance to fight with Wa Jai. Executive producer and producer Wa Jai said that he had no box office pressure, but the shoot was very tough. In addition each explosion scene had to be completed in 1 or 2 takes, thus a lot of man power and material were used.
