Jackie Chan yesterday donated 370 down jackets to the Salvation Army to be distributed to seniors in need. This year is already his 19th years of donating down jackets to the elderly. He said, "When the seniors were young they contributed a lot to Hong Kong, I will be old too. I hope in the next 19 years I will still be able to continue to care for the elderly and donate down jackets to give them warmth."

Jackie Chan in the past few years due to work left the task to his son Jaycee Chan (Fong Cho Ming). This year he is in Hong Kong and thus he personally donated them.

Jackie Chan revealed that Cho Ming is in Beijing now to produce his record release in the middle of the year. He has been collecting songs. Jackie Chan said, "Cho Ming said that he will release a record for me. Since he wants to, let him have some fun. Musically he is more talented than me, I will rely on him completely so our relationship won't be affected. We won't have any argument. I will obey him completely. We may even sing a duet."

Some said that Nicholas Tse Ting Fung could become Jackie Chan's action film successor. Jackie Chan said, "Ting Fung is good, smart and willing to take risk. I hope Cho Ming can too, but Ting Fung's chances are probably greater. Cho Ming doesn't like to make action films too much because he is afraid that we would be compared. If it was singing there is no comparison." Does he not want Cho Ming to make action films because of how tough they are? Jackie Chan said, "I want him to suffer, but my wife Lam Fung Giu (Joan Lin) doesn't. If Cho Ming makes an action film, Ah Giu would be worried sick. However I feel young people have to take risks." Jackie Chan frowned and admitted that he worried if Cho Ming made action films he would be injured all over like him. Before attending events he still had to take pain killers.

Speaking of his senior colleague Sammo Hung Kam Bo's birthday today, Jackie Chan said that they will meet for dinner. "I haven't seen Sammo's grandson, but I am not in a hurry to have one of my own. My son is in his own world." Has he asked about Yammie Nam Kit Ying? Jackie Chan said, "No, I don't know how she is lately. If she asks the PAG for help, PAG will help."
