Nicholas Tse Ting Fung, Shawn Yue Man Lok, Simon Yam Tat Wa and William Chan Wai Ting starred in AS THE LIGHT GOES OUT (GAU FOR YING HUNG), which opened in Hong Kong on January 2nd. After 4 days its cumulative box office was HK$12.35 million. Boss Albert Yeung Sau Sing was very happy. He said that if its Hong Kong box office reached HK$20 million and Mainland box office 200 million yuan RMB, he will turn HK$1 million and 5 million yuan RMB into cash prizes for the cast and the crew to reward their efforts and contributions to the film.

THE WHITE STORM (SO DUK), FIRESTORM (FUNG BO) and AS THE LIGHT GOES OUT were described as "Hong Kong Film Comeback Trilogy" in the Mainland media. The two former films had over 200 million yuan RMB at the cumulative box office each. AS' estimated box office would certainly be over 200 million yuan RMB. In order to reach this box office number as soon as possible, Ting Fung promoted in cinemas all over the nation. Two days ago he and director Derek Kwok Chi Kin, William Chan Wai Ting and Kenny Kwan Chi Bun attended the Shanghai film press conference. Yam Tat Wa alone promoted in Chengdu. Ting Fung tomorrow will appear in Shenzhen for an audience appreciation event.
