Maggie Cheung Man Yuk two nights ago attended a BVLGARI jewelry event in Beijing with Gao Yuanyuan.

Cheung Man Yuk got into the business as a first runner in TVB's Miss Hong Kong pageant in 1983. Her former boss Sir Run Run Shaw (Siu Yat Fu) passed away, leaving her sighing. She recalled that although they did not have much contact, she was a very gentle person. She said, "My first movie was a Shaw release, so I have quite a connection with uncle Six. His communication and contact with me were very short, maybe only happened at the Shaw Studio. He was a very gentle person. When he spoke his volume was very low. Uncle Six was a very important person in the Hong Kong film industry. In the past many good movies came from Shaw, so we can't forget his greatness!"
