The film market has shown signs of life as Chinese Lunar New Year films were Hong Kong box office hits. With Easter on the way, various films will fight over their release dates again. Reportedly, Emperor Motion Pictures will release the Best Actor Nick Cheung Ka Fai and Daniel Wu (Ng Yin Cho) starred, Dante Lam Chiu Yin directed THAT DEMON WITHIN (MOR GAING) at that time. The "Strongest in the Universe" Donnie Yen Chi Tan, Simon Yam Tat Wa starred THE ICEMAN 3D (3D BING FUNG HUP) has also taken aim at the same period for release. DEMON earlier already caught international attention at the Berlin Film Festival. Reportedly the U.S. and Canada have purchased rights for simultaneous release as Hong Kong.
Stephen Shiu Jr.'s company originally arranged for the Wong Cho Nam and Ivana Wong Yuen Chi starred DELETE MY LOVE (DELETE OI YUN) to be released on Easter, but with DEMON on the way it immediately made changes for the Yen Chi Tan starred ICE while DELETE has been postponed until May.
