FROM VEGAS TO MACAU 2 (DOH SING FUNG WON II) as of two days ago made HK$ 28 million at the Hong Kong box office and 910 million RMB at the Mainland box office. With other regions, the global box office exceeded 1 billion RMB. Yesterday the film company held a celebration in Beijing and announced a third film with the original team.

The Chow Yun Fat, Nick Cheung Ka Fai and Carina Lau Ka Ling starred Lunar New Year film FROM VEGAS TO MACAU 2 was a big hit. The third film's estimated budget will be between 150 and 200 million RMB. Next Lunar New Year's competition will be fierce, with the Stephen Chow Sing Chi directed MERMAID (MEI YUN YU), the Jet Li (Lee Nin Kit) and Huang Xiaoming starred 3D FUNG SUN BONG (3D INVESTITURE OF THE GODS) and the Aaron Kwok Fu Sing and Gong Li starred THE MONKEY KING 2 (SAI YAU GEI ji SUEN NG HUNG SAM DA BAK GWUT JING).

Director Wong Jing admitted that he hoped the next film will reach 1.3 billion RMB at the box office and said that on the Lunar 4th he has already begun conceiving a script. He did not rest at all during the Spring Festival as he kept thinking about how to make the third film. Yu Dong suggested for the third film to shoot in Las Vegas. Wong Jing nodded and hoped the investment will increase! Everyone agreed that Fat Gor would be the lead. Fat Gor nodded, "If the director lets me then I would, I am very happy to see so many viewer laugh!" Yolanda Yuan Quan said that she definitely will be in the third film. Fat Gor also said, "Back then I made a lot of comedy films with Wong Jing. I never imagined that I am still able to make so many comedy films at my age. During the Lunar New Year I saw how happy viewers were, which made me happy too." As for his character in the third film, Fat Gor said that he would wait for Wong Jing's arrangement.
