Andy Lau Tak Wa's new film LOST AND LOVE (SUT GOO) opened last Friday in the Mainland with 40 million RMB. Its first three day box office reached 110 million and created a new March Chinese film opening week box office record.

The new film released a The Road Home production special. In it director Peng Sanyuan only had 3 or 4 hours of rest everyday, visiting 5 cities with the team all over the country. During the shoot she even ran into many difficulties. Even guest star Sandra Ng Kwan Yu's heart ached for everyone. In the film Wa Jai had to take a beating, with a close up shot in which he got slapped. He was also pushed into the sea. Known for how serious he was at work, Wa Jai for realism was displeased with the merciless slap and asked for another take. In one scene he dragged the motorcycle from the sea to the shore, after several takes he was already exhausted; the worst was the slapping scene took three takes. No wonder Wa Jai said, "This film was completed under applause (slaps)!" The audience's heart ached over the beating Wa Jai took but also praised the character as one of the greatest fathers in Chinese film history. Wa Jai said, "Hopefully this film will remind those who once have done wrong not to do it again. It is our fortune. It also reminds the society to pay attention to child abduction cases!"
