Artist Juno Mak Chun Lung yesterday attended the Hong Kong Film and Television Market with Anthony Chan Yau to promote their new film SONS OF THE NEON NIGHTS (FUNG FOR SAN LUM). As the director, producer and screenwriter, Juno said that after finishing RIGOR MORTIS (GEUNG SI) two years ago he spent a year and half on a film festival tour and rarely stayed in Hong Kong. "This Filmart new film announcement is an idea that I have always had."

Working with Chan Yau again, Juno thanked him for his trust. "This time I will work with Chan Yau's new company, with Mainland and overseas investors. The new film production cost and time will be ten times that of RIGOR MORTIS, around US$ 16 million (HK$ 124 million). So if I told you I had no pressure I would be lying to you! Special effects and production will span the year, the production will be planned for a September start." He pointed out that the new film will be a crime epic with many Hong Kong actors. Announcements will be made once casting has been confirmed. He will not star. Chan Yau said that the new film investment will be a merger between his 20 year of experience and Juno's creativity.
