UNICEF Hong Kong's youth documentary THE WAY OUT yesterday held a premiere. BabyJohn Choi Hong Yik, Ng Siu Hin and Lau Siu Wa attended. BabyJohn revealed that his film VAMPIRE CLEANUP DEPARTMENT (GAU GEUNG CHING DOH FU)'s box office exceeded HK$ 5 million. Would he fulfill his swimwear promise to thank the audience? He said, "Lin Ming-Chen should be the one to wear a swimsuit. Actually I don't mind wearing swimwear outside my clothes, but first I have to nab her back from Taiwan to pay the bill. However, I still like for everyone to gather for a dinner the most. Now I am waiting for boss Ha Yu, then I will ask Brother Siu Ho to wear swimwear too!"
BabyJohn said that his other new film SHOCK WAVE (CHAK DAN JUEN GA) will open soon. He was very happy that recently Hong Kong film releases followed one after another, like the recent VAMPIRE CLEANUP DEPARTMENT, MAD WORLD, SHOCK WAVE and 29+1 will be released continuously. The impression was like a full bloom, which was always better than fighting among themselves. In addition some recent Hong Kong film subjects also examined social conditions and had Hong Kong film special colors.
