The Sandra Ng Kwan Yu produced and starred summer Lunar New Year film CHILLI LAUGH STORY (HOP GA LAT) yesterday held its premiere at the apm shopping center in Kwun Tong. Over a thousand fans looked on. Many fans even arrived the night before for their spot. Kwan Yu's husband Peter Chan Ho Sun and mother also showed their support.

Dressed in red, Kwan Yu on the stage with the director, the screenwriter and the cast wished everyone a Happy New Year. Then they conducted the drum ceremony and toasted to box office success. She also boldly declared the box office target was 700 million, but she said that would depend on which currency. Of course she would like it to be in Hong Kong currency and was confident that t would be able to achieve past Lunar New Year film performance. She said that as soon as she would have time she would attend audience appreciation events. Kwan Yu even took out her phone to capture the atmosphere. Ronald Cheng Chung Kei revealed that Kwan Yu originally planned to take everyone to Japan for a vacation, but she would consider Thailand. Kwan Yu revealed, "Because Chan Ho Sun said that he couldn't get up, he wouldn't be able to keep up the tour." Edan was very nervous about his film debut. At first he was worried about his own performance, fortunately the advanced screening responses have been great.

Kwan Yu was the only Hong Kong actor to be invited to be an Oscar voter recently. She said that she was very emotional when she got the news and felt that it was a great honor. Fatboy revealed Chan Ho Sun praised Dee's acting for its precision and Kwan Yu praised him for his good acting. Dee said that this time he benefit a lot from the two great elders. The most memorable was getting a "good take" recognition, which gave him a lot of confidence. ERROR agreed that they wanted to make a movie together as the leads. They even thought of the subject, a superhero science fiction film. 193 expressed that no matter what they would make, they definitely would ask MIRROR to guest star because they would have box office guarantee.
