Famous author Ni Kuang (Ngai Hong) passed away yesterday afternoon at age 87. His author friend Sham Sai Sing yesterday announced the news on social media. Reportedly Ngai Hong earlier did not feel well and went to the hospital. His son Joe Ngai Chun and daughter in law Vivian Chow Wai Man have yet to replied at the writing of this article. Ngai Hong was born in 1935. His sister was author Yik Shu. Originally named Ngai Chung, he wrote many classic science fiction novels like the WESLEY series and the YUEN CHUN HAP series as well as many film screenplays. His ATV talk show CELEBRITY TALK SHOW remained a favorite among many. In recent years Ngai Hong already made less public appearances. In 2018 he attended a friend's funeral with a cane. The next year he also attended a book fair event, at the time he was in good spirit.
