The 40th Hong Kong Film Awards took place last night. The red carpet was just as star studded. Attending artists included Patrick Tse Yin, Gordon Lam Ka Tung, Kelly Chen Wai Lam, Nick Cheung Ka Fai, Sandra Ng Kwan Yu, Derek Tsang Kwok Cheung, Venus Wong Man Yik, Nina Paw Hee Ching, Hanna Chan, Hedwig Tam Sin Yin, Chrissie Chau Sau Na, Louise Wong Dan Nei and Minchen Lin.

Best Actress nominee Chau Sau Na wore a black and transparent evening gown and 7 figure in diamond accessories. Because of all the transparent spots in the dress, Chau Sau Na was very careful with every step she took. Wong Dan Nei who was also dressed in black joked that she did not warn her husband Sheldon Lo Hau Yung in advance, but after her husband saw her he called her pretty.

Best Actor favorite Lam Ka Tung made his first appearance since his on set accident and rumored to be unable to attend due to the injury.
