The Louis Koo Tin Lok produced and starred, Carina Lau Ka Ling, Philip Keung Ho Man, Tse Kwan Ho starred Chinese science fiction action film WARRIORS OF FUTURE (MING YUT JING GEI) has been set for release on August 25. The new film after years of preparation would be the largest scale science fiction epic in Hong Kong history. Its production cost reached HK$ 450 million in hopes of being able to set a milestone for Chinese film and open a new chapter in Asian special effects.
As WARRIORS OF FUTURE stepped into the countdown stage, it stirred up a science fiction robot war fever. The film company released some of the characters' latest poster and the latest trailer, and starting Monday on a large 3D video wall on Matheson Street near Times Square at Causeway Bay video promotions would be shown. The robots in the 3D wall videos would be an important character "Kung Kei" in the film. "Kung Kei" is active, agile and full armed, with heavy firepower and guns it is a military robot that can take out its enemies in seconds. Its original purpose was to protect the people, but later in the film it became a hard to handle opponent that pursued Louis Koo Tin Lok and Sean Lau Ching Wan. In addition on the 3 film posters were a fully equipped Koo Tin Lok, Sean Lau Ching and the eye catching Keung Ho Man. Listed on the posters were their character names and ranks. The trailer had many actors and robots, the pace was so intense and exciting that people's adrenaline and pulse would rise after watching.
