The 25th Shanghai International Film Festival two nights ago opened. Nicholas Tse Ting Fung and Cya Liu appeared on the film festival red carpet as CUSTOMS FRONTLINE (HOI GUAN JIN SIN)'s leads. As a first time action director for the film, Ting Fung said that all of the action in CUSTOMS was real, real fighting and real explosions, real falls and real car chases as Ting Fung personally took to the shoot of every action scene.
With sincerity and humility for film, he ultimately carried the persistence and passion for Hong Kong action film and believed that he definitely would not disappoint viewers' attention and anticipation. CUSTOMS' other lead actor Jacky Cheung Hok Yau before the shoot seriously confirmed the correct way to hold a gun with Ting Fung and repeatedly practiced the fierce action scenes. Even because of his ability to "read the script once and immediately be able to recite it", Ting Fung jokingly called him the "copier".
Film stars Chow Yun Fat, Michelle Yeoh (Yeung Chi King) and director Chen Kaige earlier were opening guests at the Shanghai International Film Festival. They caught up backstage before their appearance. Yeung Chi King saw Fat Soh and could not help but get her a hug and joked that Fat Soh was thin and tall like Chow Yun Fat. Yeung Ch King has worked with Chow Yun Fat many times and took the opportunities to exchange greetings. She and Chen Kaige even asked Chow Yun Fat for running tips.
Chow Yun Fat also appeared on the opening ceremony red carpet with his new film ONE MORE CHANCE (BIT GIU NGOR DOH SUN)'s co-stars Anita Yuen Wing Yi, Alex Fong Chung Shun and others and continued to be the "selfie king" as they took photos with everyone.
