The 25th Shanghai International Film Festival yesterday opened. This year 128 nations and regions and almost 8,800 movies applied for competition and exhibition. At this year's Shanghai Film Festival, Hong Kong elements have become the important symbol. Not only the opening film I LOVE YOU! has Hong Kong stars like Kara Wai Ying Hung, Tony Leung Ka Fai, Cecilia Yip Tung and others, this year the Shanghai Film Festival also had a MAKING WAVES segment. It selected a group of representative movies of new directors for screenings, including 6 features and 5 short films. 2 movies also qualified for the Jin Jue Award for Asian Newcomers and would make their world premiere.

On this year's film festival opening ceremony red carpet, the four leads of I LOVE YOU! appeared first.
