Chapman To Man Jat and Wong Cho Nam lately has been busy with the LA COMEDIE HUMAINE (YUN GAN HEI KET) promotion. As a TVB contract artist, Cho Nam made an exception and appeared on Cable as both he and To Man Jat accepted an interview in Cantonese. Cho Nam expressed that this time he was able to appear on TVB thanks to the film company and all the television stations involved. To Man Jat joked that Cho Nam could walk sideways in TVB nowadays, he could not only appear on Cable but even RTV.

Wong Cho Nam pointed out that LA COMEDIE HUMAINE was his first movie because this film started earlier than SHORT OF LOVE (NGAI JAI DOR CHING). This film received film development fund assistance. In the film he played a screen writer who resembled a train man, which actually was a reflection of director Chan Hing Ka. However the director this time spared no film as every take took five or six takes. He and Fiona Sit Hoi Kei played a couple. In one scene they had to kiss on the tram from North Point to Sai Ying Pun. Cho Nam joked, "Fiona occasionally would mistakenly call me Cho Ming and not Cho Nam." Ah Jat and Kama Law Hoi San also had a revealing bed scene.

Ah Jat and Cho Nam mutually admired each other on this collaboration. Ah Jat felt that no matter how busy Cho Nam was he was able to maintain a good attitude, which was very rare. If he was like him a few years ago he would have been better. Speaking of working with Ah Jeh (Liza Wong Ming Chuen) earlier, Ah Jat said that Ah Jat's personality was similar to Sandra Ng Kwan Yu's but Ah Jeh was prettier. Cho Nam also expressed that once they played Four Golden Flowers, during rehearsal Ah Jeh suddenly got sentimental and could not keep going after breaking down.
